On Jan. 3, 2024, the Directorate General of Postal and Information Resources and Equipment (SDPPI) of Indonesia finalized Technical Standards for Non-cellular Low Power Wide Area Network Telecommunications Equipment as Decree of Ministry of Communication and Informatics No. 5 of 2024. Technical Specifications stipulated in this decree must be fulfilled by every in-scope telecommunication equipment manufactured, assembled, and/or imported, for trading and/or use in Indonesia.
