On October 24, the National Communications Agency (ENACOM) completed the auction of frequency bands for the deployment, development and provision of the fifth generation (5G) service. A total of 250 MHz was auctioned in the 3300 – 3600 MHz bands, in 2 Lots of 100 MHz each and one of 50 MHz.

l  Lot 1 - 100 MHz (Band 3300-3400): Clear (AMX)

l  Lot 2 - 100 Mhz (Band 3400-3500): Telecom

l  Lot 3B - 50 Mhz (Band 3550-3600): Telefónica

The winning supplier companies in the auction obtain authorization to operate the 5G band for 20 years.
