Oct 20, 2017, the European Commission opened a stakeholder consultation on eight exemption requests from the substance restrictions in electrical and electronic equipment (RoHS directive 2011/65/EU), including three requests for the renewal of existing exemptions and five requests for new exemptions from the RoHS Directive. The consultation will run for six weeks until December 01, 2017.
