On 4 October 2017, The European Commission Submitted two notifications (G/TBT/N/EU/519 and G/TBT/N/EU/520 ) to WTO, notifying that they will plan to identify benzene-1,2,4-tricarboxylic acid 1,2 anhydride ( trimellitic anhydride, TMA) and dicyclohexyl phthalate (DCHP) as substances of very high concern (SVHC). The proposal is expected to enter into force in March 2018.
