It is involved in plastic, stainless steel, ceramics and bamboo cutlery and non-stick pans and the quantities of goods， which were  denied entry to China or withdrawal are as high as eighty-six batches. China also repeatedly found unqualified food contact products in the import sampling.

The compulsory new national standard will be fully implemented.

From October 19, 2017, the new national standard of these two important food contact materials will be fully implemented!

The range of application for new national standard:

These two basic standards are applicable to10 different materials - GB4806 series product standards. The production management of GB31603 Food contact materials and products production code for general health and 50 detection methods standard of a complete set of GB31604 series are the lead role in whole standard system.

Expert Proposes

There is still a month to complement the new national standard, it is recommended that the relevant enterprises undertake the final round of inspection of the products to ensure that the products are in accordance with these new standards, including but not limited to the following:

1. Use principles, labels, compliance statements and other requirements consistent with general security GB 4806.1-2016;

2. The use of additives conforms to the requirements of GB 9685
