The regulations of Children's jewelry have limitation on the content of some metal elements. The related regulations and testing standards are as follows:

 

1.United States

※ Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act (CPSIA)

※ 16 CFR 1500.234 & 16 CFR 1500.14 liquid filler

※ H.R.4428 cadmium content

※ California Proposition 65 (Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986)

※ ASTMF2923 on Standard Specification for Consumer Product Safety for Children’s Jewelry

※ ASTM F963 on Standard Consumer Safety Specification for Toy Safety about Soluble heavy metals

※ California SB 929 prohibition on the use of cadmium for children's jewelry,

※ California AB2901 on the lead content of jewelry

※ New York A 9561 / SB 6446 restrictions on cadmium content for glazed ceramic tableware, Directs Department of Health to establish the maximum quantity of cadmium for children's jewelry offered for sale as currently exists for glazed ceramic tableware
