Congratulations to BACL for having signed the MOU with NTRA of Egypt successfully and becoming one of the four accredited laboratories. This successful elected is high recognition from NTRA for BACL's rigorous work over the years and also high praise from customers.

MOU for BACL and NTRA

Big changes of NTRA VOC &PVOC rules since January 1st, 2020:

• Change 1：NTRA list the recognized labs as Group A and Group B. From January 1st, 2020, only 4 Group A labs who can issue NTRA VOC and PVOC. Only CE reports issued by Group A can be recognized by NTRA. Group B labs will not be approved by June 30th,2020. Even Group B is approved, Group A and NTRA will review all the test reports from Group B on case by case basis.

• Change 2：All the products under NTRA scope and their accessories (Chargers, Batteries) should be tested in Group A. CE test reports from any other third-party labs are not accepted. But IECEE CB test reports and CB certificates for the accessories can be accepted, and must ensure the model, brand, rating are same as those in IECEE test reports and CB certificates, and NTRA will inspect it.

• Change 3：Module B-EU Type Examination of CE RED directive is not necessary, and CE RED directive Module A can be accepted.  This will shorten the lead time and reduce the cost of certification for manufactures, factories.

• Change 4：In order to reduce certification cost for Egyptian importer, NTRA negotiate with Group A labs to reduce the cost and fix the testing prices for importer reference.

• Change 5：After January 1st, 2020, VOC issued by the not assigned MOU laboratory will not be accepted for the new model. For VOC issued by the old MOU laboratory before January 1st, 2020, related PVOC can be issued until March 31st, 2020, and the goods are required to arrive in Egypt port before March 31st, 2020. PVOC issued by the old laboratory will not be accepted after March 31st，2020.

On December 9th, 2019, BACL and Mr. Tarek Mohamed Ahmed ElEbiary, Executive Director of Type Approval of National Telecommunication Regulatory Authority(NTRA) sign the MOU (Memorandum of Understanding).

This New MOU between BACL and NTRA of Egypt mark BACL becoming the One of Four Group A accredited labs of recognized by NTRA. The new MOU base on BACL Shenzhen and BACL Dongguan, NTRA add BACL Kunshan as Group A accredited labs. BACL will continuously provide the manufactures, factories, importers, exporters comprehensive and efficient one-stop testing and certification services base on more testing sites and testing capacity！
