NOM is a Mexican safety certification. According to Mexican regulation, the certificate holder must be a Mexican company who is responsible for the quality, maintenance and reliability of the product. The test report should be issued by a SECOFI accredited laboratory and should be audited by SECOFI, ANCE or NYCE. If the product complies with the relevant regulations, a certificate will be issued to the Mexican representative of the manufacturer or exporter, then the product can be marked with the NOM mark. The scope of NOM certification for lighting products includes: LED lamps used in roads and outdoor public areas, normal lightingintegrated LED bulbs, compact fluorescent lamps.
