1. Egypt NTRA PVOC Inspection Service

According to the relevant laws and regulations promulgated by the National Telecom Regulatory Authority (NTRA) of Egypt, BACL provides NTRA type certification VOC and completes PVOC pre-shipment inspection report and certificate services for all communication equipment entering the Egyptian market, including terminal equipment and radio communication equipment.

Scope of Authorization

As a certification body and PVOC inspection agency authorized by NTRA in Egypt, BACL can directly issue NTRA VOC & PVOC certificate for wireless communication products such as mobile phones, tablets, cordless phones, POS machines, speakers, headsets, cameras, data processors, gateways, switches, base stations, etc.

2. Egypt GOEIC COI Inspection Service

The General organization for Export and Import Control (GOEIC) is responsible for the inspection of goods imported into Egypt, compiling import and export statistics, and protecting consumers. On March 31, 2020, GOEIC officially announced that BACL has become a registration and inspection agency authorized by GOEIC in Egypt. According to GOEIC requirements, products exported to Egypt must meet Egyptian quality and safety requirements and the "Conformity Evaluation System for Implementation and Supervision". BACL can provide inspection certificate COI services for products imported into Egypt within the scope of control during customs clearance.

★ Factory Inspection Service

BACL North America OSHA NRTL and SCC factory inspection requirements

• First Factory Inspection (IFI)

Initial Factory Inspection (IFI) is an important part of follow-up inspection services. IFI is the first on-site follow-up inspection of products after BACL has passed the certification test. Generally, IFI is suitable for a manufacturer to produce a certain type of BACL certified product for the first time. After the product passes the test, BACL will confirm whether to implement IFI for the product. If necessary, BACL will send the IFI notice in writing to the applicant/manufacturer and the BACL inspection center. The implementation time of the IFI can be proposed by the applicant/manufacturer to BACL, but the applicant/manufacturer cannot use the BACL mark until the product successfully passes the IFI. After the product has passed the IFI inspection and completed the rectification verification, the manufacturer is allowed to affix the BACL mark on the product.

• Follow-up Inspection Report

Factory inspectors complete an inspection report at the production site after each follow-up inspection and send it to BACL. If the actual product is inconsistent with the description in the "BACL Follow-up Inspection Service Procedures IFI check list", in addition to the inspection report, the factory inspector will also issue a Variation Notice (VN). VN will record in detail the product and the difference described in the "BACL Follow-up Inspection Service Procedure Book IFI check list". For the difference, the factory inspector will put forward opinions on the handling of the inspected products involved on the spot.
