Recall Cases of Toys in December 2021

In December, 2021, there were total 79 recall cases on toys in the major global markets. Thereinto, 71 recalls were published at the European Commission Rapid Alert System (RAPEX), 1 recall was published by United States and 7 recalls were published by Australia. The potential danger of these recalled toys mainly came from the restricted chemicals that may have effects on health and intelligence development, dangerous button cells, dangerous rattles, environmental pollution, small parts which may lead to chocking, cut hazards, plastic film suffocation hazards, cords strangulation hazards, hearing damage, dangerous magnets and burn hazards, etc.
